Bonham Exchange 411 Bonham San Antonio, TX 78205 (210) 271-3811
Bar/Club
Since 1891, this Alamo-adjacent building has housed a number of establishments, including a German athletic club and the USO during WWII. In 1981 it became the Bonham Exchange, with five bars and three dance floors--three of the five bars are named after Alamo heroes. Worth mentioning are the Travis bar, which offers a view of the main ballroom's dance floor, and the Gymnasia, which has a capacity of over 1,000 and has previously featured Debbie Harry and Tina Turner. |

Club Cohiba 1015 Navarro St San Antonio, TX 78205-1321 (210) 222-2008
Bar/Club
Enter the quiet lobby of the historic Havana Riverwalk Inn and take the elevator down to the basement. When the doors open, you'll feel like you're walking into someone's living room. Leather couches and chairs dot the small two-room bar. Neatly painted black pipes overhead remind you that you're underground. The exposed-brick walls are decorated with antique mirrors, some with shelves holding tiny antique bottles. The well-heeled crowd is generally in their mid-20s to mid-40s |

Mix Night Club 2423 N Saint Marys St San Antonio, TX 78212-3737 (210) 735-1313
Bar/Club
There's not much to the Mix, but for some reason, the locals come running. Maybe it's the loud music, maybe it's the overcrowded pool tables, maybe it's the fact that the drinks are cheap. The bar stays packed to the limit most weekend nights until last call, when the clientele is booted out onto the curb to mill around for a while under the martini glass sign before finally dispersing |

Bar/Club

Rippled rock walls, silvery curtains made of beads and couches covered in silk pillows are just a small sample of this bar's jarring beauty. Everywhere you look, there are handsome people who fit right in with the decor. Located on the second floor of the dark, mysterious Hotel Valencia, the space is divided into several large rooms, allowing multiple opportunities for dramatic entrances. Well-dressed singles mingle at the main bar, while couples enjoy the large balcony overlooking the riverwalk. |
